Questions we get

What exactly counts as a zone?

Any area that plays music independently is a zone. A hotel lobby and its spa are two zones; a gym's weights, cardio and yoga areas are three. A café playing through a single speaker line is one zone.

I have several branches. How is that priced?

Each branch is its own venue and is priced at its own tier. Branches are managed from a single portal, and music can be changed centrally.

Will I still pay royalties separately?

No. We own the rights to everything in the catalogue, so you make no separate payment to a collecting society. Each venue gets a verifiable licence certificate — when an inspector scans the QR code, the current status appears. Note: this guarantee covers the Mublic catalogue only; if radio or another service is also playing in the venue, that falls outside it.

Do I need a card for the trial?

No. Your stream opens the moment you sign up and closes by itself when the period ends. There is no automatic billing.

Can I cancel whenever I want?

Yes. The subscription is monthly and can be ended at the close of the current period; there is no commitment. Annual payments are not refunded for the remaining period.

How is invoicing handled?

Mublic is operated by OGABSON LLC, a Wyoming (USA) company. Invoices are issued in the currency of your pricing region and are exclusive of tax. Where your country applies a reverse-charge or self-assessment rule to services purchased from abroad, declaring that tax is your responsibility. See the Terms of Use for detail.

What happens if I stop paying?

The stream stops and the licence certificate loses its validity — scanning the QR code will show "expired". So while your subscription is active, you can be certain the certificate is live too.
