You are licensed during the trial too. An inspector scans this QR code with their own phone; the page that opens shows the current status — live verification, not a printed document. Print it and put it by the till.
We sent a link to your inbox. One click and your trial keeps playing — it is only there so we know a real person is on the other end.
The music you are playing is ours, and during the trial you are playing it with our permission. What the trial does not include is the licence document — the certificate with the QR code an inspector can scan.
If an inspection comes while you are still on trial, you do not have to wait: subscribe and your certificate is issued immediately, before your stream even opens. You can show it on the spot.

On a subscription every device downloads half an hour of music in advance. If the internet goes, the music does not — in a venue this is the feature you will value most. (Nothing is downloaded during the trial.)

The trial plays a single zone. On a subscription every zone plays separately, the daily schedule changes itself by the clock, and you decide the permissions.
